Iv heard uprated coil provide bigger better spark but never seem to have found one do they come off any bike are they universal for any bike ? Cheers

ok lads iv got seans bike for complete rebuild and it came with a fault that it has no spark, since iv rebuilt it iv replaced every electrical item on the bike, like the loom, 3 coils one of them being brand new, cdi ,regulator, stator/coil pick up ,plugs, made sure all earthing pints are clean and have go...

Bike still won't spark. Been completely rebuilt with new coil, loom, sparkie, CDI etc yet still just turns over with no ignition. WTF? Could be a faulty stator maybe? Any way to check the stator? it's either that or the ignition cap...

I was just wondering if you can put a trail-tech vapor speedo on a DT125RE 2004 model because the layout is different to the DRT the ignition is behind the handle bars.... Has anyone on here put on of these on there DT's? The only reason im getting one is because im putting some 17" supermoto wheel...

Recieved a new coil today, it said its for a DTR apparently, but its different from the standard coil as it has 2 male spade terminals on it instead of one, it did come with an earth lead, with a female connector one end and a ring connector for earth, the other end of the wire. as title says i left out in some terrible whether last night when i got on it this morning the indicators would stay on and not flash and power valve not working i checked the battery and noticed the main fuse had blown would this be due to water in the electris and where could i get a main fuse thanks

Right, went out laning a couple of weeks ago and the DT started misfiring after going through water. I thought it was electrical so I caned everything with WD40. This didn't sort the problem. Later I found out the airbox wasn't sealed properly (previous owner was a muppet!) and was full of river crap....

Hi i have a problem with my temp gauge/sensor. When i connect the wire to the sensor on the head, the gauge quickly goes up to the red line and stays there, before i even start the engine!
