Im new to biking bought a DTR a few months ago, every thing was fine with it but then the speedo started sticking on 40 mph. Now its not working at all any ideas? bought a new speedo and it has'nt cured the problem. Ive taken the speedo cable off from the wheel and turned the wire inside and the speedo clock moves, so my guess is that the clock and the wire are fine.
yeaht eh problem is almost cirtainly the dirve in the front wheel, there is a round thing whaen u take to picese and this has like 3 or 4 tabs on it put it on a hard surface then carfully kakingsure no to bend the thing out of shape hit any of the tabs that look squshed then reassemble it. you will need a tool to remove the crirclip. ask if u need any more help
