Ive had a look through some of the threads on this forums i cant seem to see anyone with the same question. I just wanted to know if a DEP silencer will fit onto a BIG ONE expansion chamber? The whole DEP system would be the best option i know but right now i am a student and dont have loads of money so i was thinking of buying a DEP silencer for £50 and getting the Big One front pipe for £84, what do you think?
well got my dep tail pipe on today and been out and tried it,no difference in speed and does not really sound much different.just waiting for my big one front pipe now............
got full big one system on my 2006 dtr ,slugish at low revs but once powerband kicks in it awesome 75mph with ease ,would recomend, only prob is when in top gear it seems to die a bit ,but from what ive read it seems common problem.anyone else top gear sufferer.
yer just got bigone front pipe now to go with dep tail,went out today and got 75 out of it still going abit more though,and when in top gear it died unless i had wind behind me to keep revs crawling.gonna try 15 theeth front sprocket next....
great minds think alike just waiting for mine to turn up ordered off e-bay, also thinking of getting some race reeds ,as anyone got them fitted and any change in performance,
FFS I forgot i had posted this thread sorry for not responding earlier lads totally forgot and just checked it today. Glad to hear that the DEP and Big One fit, did you have any problems fitting the two together? Has anyone figured out why their bikes are losing power in top gear? Oh thanx for all the replies i haven't got around to buying a new exhaust yet as i crashed the bike and bent the handle bars so i have just ordered some renthals today plus i need a new chain.
Right cheers mate i need a new chain and sprocket set anyway so i guess ill get a 15 tooth sprocket, are there still any avaible on Ebay or do you know a shop i can buy one from? Thanx Craig.
