After the standard exhaust completely came off (snapped) I have been looking for a replacement cheap, anything would do so long as it worked. Just picked up a DEP can for £20. Fantastic, I know they are good cos I have one on my WR 400 thing I am wondering is would it be worth changing the expansion chamber some time in the future? What type of gain will it give if any?
According to ppl that buy just the silencer the only effect of the DEP is it makes the bike sound better but in some cases slows the bike down a bit. What they normally do is buy the front end DEP to increase the power of the bike, im planning on getting a DEP end can and a BIG ONE expansion chamber because its cheaper then buying the whole DEP system and should give roughly the same gains. Oh if you dont mind me asking where did you get the end can for 20 quid the cheapest ive seen a new one is around 54. Thanx Craig.
85 quid LOL maybie for a 2nd hand expansion chamber but not the silencer cheaky buggers, nothing wrong with 2nd hand stuff from ebay normally its alot cheaper and if you look right you can get stuff that is in good condition. I just got myself a set of gold Renthals for 12 quid including p&p there 2nd with a few scratches but hardly noticealde they would have cost me 36 quid brand new online.

I HAVE FULL DEP AND IT GOES WELL AND SOUNDS SWEET ONCE POWER VAULVE OPENS MINE IS NOT FULLY OPENED BUT YEAH IF YOU CAN STRETCH FUNDS GET FULL PIPE IT ALSO LOOKS GOOD NICE CHROME LOOKIN THERE
