i need a new front tyre soon, the pirelli on there was new when i got the bike, ive done 1000 miles and its gonna need replacing very soon

is that a normal amount of miles for a tyre ?

, what tyres do you have on yours ? i need a reasonable priced one, as i want to buy a new exhaust system too, i ride 85% on road and a bit of off road

also appriciate the cheapest/best place to buy from and what size i need and what ones are good and bad and for what reasons

Ive heard avon distanzia tyres are one of the best for dts,there made for 80% on road and 20% off road,im thinking of buying some but dont know how good they are off road??

Next set I am gonna get are some Machelin AC10's oh yeah :), there like motocross tires but are road legal as well :().

i just need a reasonable front tyre that wil hopefully last out till the winter kicks in

what are these Heidenau 275P - 21 Front Catspaw Trail Tyre K60. tyres like thata re on wemoto ? found them on http://www.bitzforbikes.co.uk/ for £30 , £49 on some sites !!

LOL i know the avons are expensive but they are supposed to be one of the best,those tyres look ok mate but they wont hold the road as good as the avons.

them avons wont be any good off road tho , a local place has pirelli mt 43`s, for £27 , thats same as whats on it at mo, might just get one of them

quite a selection on here tho, put yamaha dt r in the thing and it brings up a few

found it to be excellent mate, on and off road had no problems at all, corners well and been good in the wet, good all rounder , it still feels good although its approaching the legal limit
