Have a 13 tooth front sprocket for my 98dt125 need to know if i also have to change the rear sprocket and chain.Am also going to peg the powervalve open does anyone have any thoughts as to how these mods will make the bike for going off road hill climbing and stuff as it struggles at the moment.
You should always change the chain and sprockets as a set but if the teeth are very good then you can get away with just a chain.All you have to do on an early model is turn the powervalve and the bike will perform loads better.Later models are more difficult but easy enough
