I am looking for decent set of tyres ready for spring/summer time that are good for riding on the road but can also handle a fair bit of trail riding any suggestions would be very welcome thanks
Currently i am using Continental Enduro Pro.Excellent road tyre and have adequate grip off road.Useless in heavy mud but then again so is every road legal tyre
believe it or not the bridgestone trailwing!! Brilliant tyre on the road with enough knobble to help with a bit of trail riding. work fine in on the wet road as I used to hoon about in the wet (silly I know but the tyres give a sense of confidence) and going back to a cheap chinese catspaw type tyre was a right shock. definatly notice a difference! .. Ive done over 15k on 2 sets (part worn) and rate them highly... Funny since yam tested loads of tyres on the dt and came to the conclusion that the trailwing was the best tyre and was the standard tyre fitted to a new dtr..
"Trail Wing TW301/TW302 Experience the heavy-duty adventure City and off-road riders Enjoy riding freely on both streets and dirt, with Trail Wing's overall performance of pattern, blocks and compound. Trail Wing TW301 and TW302 are on-off type tyres with an emphasis on on-road performance making the tyres ideal for the customers who ride off-road motorcycles mainly in metropolitan (city) areas.
Considerable attention has been paid to the balance of pattern, shape and compound to reduce differences in performance in wet conditions on ordinary roads, even on manhole covers and painted street surfaces."

I second what element said. Mine are still meaty and ive done 4500 on them.. cant fault them on and off road..... might be considering vee rubber tyres just on the shear cost.
Which Vee Rubbers would you go for? I also like tyres that stand the bike higher, current Mich Comp Enduros stand it quite high, which is good for my height...
