Hazy ...

That's Proper Mint That M8 ...

It's like a new un' !

2K GBP   ????

Nice colour too..

But im biased cos' iv'e been drooling over / licking rad shrouds on TDR's since the 250 in black & yellow first hit these shores ! biggrin

The motors are supposed to have taller internal gearing ???

The motor [leccy start only ?] looks like an RE'  /  X' type

Does it have a small pipe coming out of the expansion chamber & going up to a rubber pipe ?? Im assuming it's Cat' Converter Motor ??

If yes, you could open up the xpanny + gut the pipe of cat' ...
modify a dep tailpipe to fit ???

Im not sure how / if the PV control is restricted, but im sure it will be, and done in a way similar to DT 'RE' ...

But im not sure ??

Need to talk to some TDR Bod's ?? !!

well thanks the motor kick start is capped easy enough to add a kickstart and yeh £2000 GBP and theres a local yamaha dealer willing to sell me a brand new unused dep tailpipe for the tdr for £55 could gut the cat myself but the yamaha dealer will do it for £40 and as for the powervalve it needs turning round as allthe power is low but it works for me just put another 130 miles on it today nice steady run speedo indicates top speed of 75 but sat nav indicated 66 so quite a big indiscrepency but will look into that. cigar lighter is now wired up underneath the seat so loads more functionality but i must say im well impressed with it think i might strip it in a few months and poss drop an athena 170cc kit in it but for now at least shes safe lol

170 Kit ???

Wouldn't bother ... No one has much decent to say about them, and many say waste of time ?

Kickstart ...

Wouldn't bother ... Leccy starts cool [mine's an 04 RE] & if $hit hits fan they bump off piecapiss... ! If your PV has a servo & is used in the same way as RE & X models, then a low battery will play havoc with running of PV anyway, so you will need decent battery at all times, kicker or no kicker.

Yammy Dealer ?? Gutting Cat' Converter out of pipe ??!!! Suprised they offer such a service !!!???

Im no expert on your motor, but just gutting Cat alone may not make much difference unless you get the PV to stop retarding at 6K revs [all this is based on RE & X restrictions + im gonna assume same for TDR ?????]

The lads here who have grounded out wire to activate PV properly, pull 75 mph plus / off clock [haines/pea...] with the cat in place !!! The key to power seems to be the PV - 85% & Cat 15% ...

Speak to TDR bods ... !!??

Speedo discrep' - About right for a 125 2 stroke ... they are always optimistic !!!

Sat' Nav' - Proper Gucci biggrinwink
