pretty much m8 yes you may need to make a few adjustments but nothing serious
pretty much anything with a light in is road legal i made the one on this bike from a pancake air filter from an old escort and some 12v kitchen light bulbs lol
yes m8 that pic was took just after it had passed its m.o.t
its not so much a case of breaking the rules more bending them you would be surprised the things you can get away with on an m.o.t
as an example take a look at the pic again and look where the front muddy meets the forks theres a tiny bulb sticking out there which where the front indicators
the law says you must have an amber flashing light so i just used an amber bulb with no case which meets all the uk regulations lol
ok, well after having a casual browse through ebay i came across this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=230301571094 it has indicatiors integrated apparently but im having second thoughts lol do you guys think it would suit a dtr?
That light isn't legal, to be legal a light has to be focussed correctly, if it is, it will have an E-mark. The bulbs in that "headlight" has the same bulbs as my kitchen spot lights, they are un-focussed and will dazzle other drivers, they will also effictively be **** at lighting the road properly.
it wont dazzle others if it is set correctly which they can sort for you on the m.o.t the bulbs are exactly the same thing you find in all aftermarket enduro headlights and ive never once been told there not legal
i hear what your saying m8 and your probably right but it passes the m.o.t which is good enough for me the light they give off isnt really an issue for me as i live in a town so theres always streetlights
i doubt any copper would be clued up that much on bulb markings he would be more worried about my stubby end can and small plate lol
