I know the Portuguese luv the DT because there are loads of them on bikepics.com. Do they speak English on the forum mate? Some of these DT's are very nice well apart from the headlight on the first one :).

Certainly do , good source of info though

hey was looking at the speedshop and saw the bleed nipples . I think I need one of those as my rear caliper one has sheered off it looks like . If I dont find a rear dtx caliper im getting one of those . And a jet too but not sure which size . I'm just going to be running the DEP so no major changes for now

Cant find them on ebay, is it this one though?

http://www.hpires.pt/portal/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage_01&product_id=853&category_id=10&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=63

Is that a direct fit part then? If so that sorts my rear end out perfectly Id be really happy with that rear mud guard.

If not can you point me in the right direction when to find it in blue on their site or on ebay.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks mate just bought myself a blue one. I hope it looks like the pictures above, as looking at the picture on ebay and my fender on my bike it looks indeticle, not exactly sure how its going to stick up and out at the angle the ones do in the image above?

Hopefully it does though and Ill be a happy boy!

I have just fitted a YZ rear mud guard today, but as you know they dont fit great. Id already ordered it and thought I would see what I thought.

Cant wait to get this 1 fitted and looking really smart!

Thanks for all the help

Its a very rushed job just bodged on to get me about for a week or 2 until this new rear arrives. lol its not even the right colour for a start.

The main problem with the YZ is that it wants to drop down all the time, you pull it up so its sticking out at a nice angle and then because theres nothing really holding it, it sort of just flops back down again.

Hopefully the new 1 from Portugal will be much better!

This is the guard I have bought:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=200349464051

however it looks almost identical to the 1 I have just removed which is stock

Looks like the same HPires one

lol erm ok, it doesnt seem to fit the same way as the ones above do ^ they stick out at a really nice angle the 1 I had just goes flat at the back like a standard one. Could be as it was still bolted to the standard frame? Im guessing you have to remove that and use my tail tidy kit to the the Hpires one to fit correctly.

I never realised it wasnt the standard fender though, everything else on the bike was 100% standard. Strange!

Nah trust me that's no standard  rear fender mate . The blue one I posted further up has been on all the DT's right up to the DTRE where they changed the design to incoorporate the brake light .

Somewhere down the line someone has changed your rear fender . Still a bit confused as it should fit just like all these other ones posted on these bikes . The OEM one points downwards no

Will see what the new 1 is like and post up pics when its here, I may even weld a new bracket on to try and adjust the angel and get it to point out at that upwards angle, it looks great like that as it creates a nice line running right along from the front of the bike under the seatalong.

Found a few pics of my bike when I bought it: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&item=130312503814 as you can see the front mud guard isnt standard either.
