Shot blast ,  Hammerite whatever colour you want and has rust treatment in it .

Or sand it and cover it with the same Hammerite wink

whatever you do mate DO NOT STRIP the bearings out the swingarm lol . Fortune to replace although prob worth it .

My advice mate is judge up what metals bit you want sorted then find out a coating quote . Ive learnt it can be chaeper than doing it yourself . Its just figuring out which bits to take off and how much

powdercoating the swing arm is good but an utter pain in the ass as you would have to remove the bearings and seals and like mugen says its expensive to replace them

the swinger is dead easy to remove i would just take it off rub it down and spray it with some rattlecans and give it lots of coats of laquer to prevent stonechips ect and the same with the rad bracket

So if its that easy I am pleased thanks Baz. on the swing arm there is only one main bolt going through isnt there, I got myself a bike stand now, so can start doing things with it instead of trying to do it on the normal bike stand

For the frame mate all im going to do is take of the plastics wire brush the rusty bits and then use kurust on them and leave it overnight, then paint over the bits youve sorted with hammerite.
