im thinking of spraying all of my plastics! is there any special method to it atal? i spray alloys and bits all the time but im not sure on motorcycle plastics with the flexing of them! i wouldnt want to use normal primer and then it cracks off lol! thanks tommy
I think it depends , spraying will never look or last as long as new panels . But it can work if you're on a budget . I sprayed a bit with metal paint ( was just for mock up so didnt need a good finish ) . Didnt bother sanding or anything , just a quick wash . I'm sure after time it'll look **** but 1 month so far and it's still mint . Cant even scratch it and trust me ive tried .
Joke is all the other bits i sprayed with special plastic paint and laquer are easily scratchable . Fading badly and will need to be redone soon and the bikes not even moved No idea go figure , respraying every few months is more hassle but cheap .
