Fitting KTM Mudguards
Permalink

Im looking to fit some KTM front and back mudguards to my DT 125, has anyone gone about doing this before?

Changing plastics on a bike is not something I have ever done before but Im quite handy at these sort of jobs.

Any advice which KTM to take plastics from Im guessing the EXC would probably be best?

Just any help and advice anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Forget this topic I have decided to go for some YZ front and back mudguards instead I figured I would have a better chance of getting them to fit the DT and they are very similar to EXC ones in style anyway.

Most front mudguards are the same , the YZ rear is not an exact match and will leave most of the rear bits showing hmm

Yeah I was thinking the rear one probably wont work but thought I would have a play around with it and see what I could achieve, If nothing Ive lost about £16 so not the end of the world.

I just prefer the way the YZ one flicks straight out and upwards where as the dt's kind of bend around and dont look anywhere near as aggressive

I had Ktm 125 SX front fender on mine for Ages,Fit Quite Nicely, Looked Sweet too, though mine is a older DT, i had a rear mudguard from UFO , so most likely KTM or YZ, Which didnt line up with any holes, and just got drilled though it into the bottom of the seat (not by me)
