Very nice - I'd like to see an Everts rep as a supermoto!

BTW are you planning on getting rid of that awful number plate holder??

Nah, I don't want the hassle with the police so I'll keep it all legal :P

Take your pick matey on the link below lots of rear tail lights to pick from on there, would make the back of the bike look amazing

mostly, just check its universal first, buy a muguard with tail light already fitted, just removed the rear numberplate holder and light as one and replace with a different unit,2-3 bolts, 3 wires and job done, the link above that patment showed you are the universal ones smile.gif

Hmm, well I just had a look under the bike and the mudguard and light don't seem to be connected - also, if I removed the light wouldn't I have a big dirty hole left? :p

No your be fine Crana mate I have done it to mine it will fit perfect if you buy a universal one from one in the link I gave you we will go through it step by step, but just a quick tip for a univesal tail light you will have to drill holes in the rear fender!!!

just realised you have a 07 the lights on the rear fender, you can always cover that up or change rear fender too or yoou'll have a big square bit exposed lol

Yeah, exactly! :P dont want to change the fender because of the stickers/decals, but if there was a good way of covering the hole up it would make life easy. Doesn't have to be clean because I would put my L-plate where the light used to be :)

make up a square braket that covers it, drill a couple holes in bracket and fix down with bolts to existing light holes then cover with l plate smile.gif

use an old panel and chop it down or even the plastic off your old numberplate holder or any other flat plastic you can get your hands on smile.gif

Yeah, that's a good idea :) Cheers, I'll take the light off some time today and have a think about it.

Might go over to M&S and see if they have any DEP exhausts or anything. I'm not sure about motorbike part sites!

Changed my mind a bit, might go for this:

http://www.rg-racing.com/browseBike/Yamaha/DT125X/All_Years/LP0055BK.aspx

Bloody expensive though, comes to £49.77 delivered... Hmm.  The number place light alone costs £20+ hmm

Might be worth it since I'm not going to bother with a DEP pipe anymore.

oh well :P

apparently my new rivals DT is all stock, which is good because I'm getting a DEP silencer and tail tidy soon, so at least there'll be some minor differences
