just give it beans at 8K, DTR are bloody hard to get in the air, i think the suspension is a bit soft on the front and rear, it takes up all the energy.
Only lifts in the power band tho..The YZ125 i was playing with was harder on the bum, but lifted so well.
practice and more practice, will get it right...heheheh.. good fun tho..
i have noticed the DTR suspension is REALLY soft lol im 17st and it likes bouncing me around haha trying to master slowing down so that the folks dont bounce bounce bounce lol doesnt help that i think the brakes need bleeding lol
I had mine up a good few times, but always good to know how to control it properly, I surpose the one thing we are all scared off is no so much flipping it, but the damage it will cause after we flipped it.
i fliped my 50 wile messing about lucky all i did was break a numberplate (bit of blue electrical tape did the trick) i found my dt was going up easy last sunday in the parking lot and im a fat C*** 18 stone and it was lifting i was well impressed
It's easy guys go down 1 touth on the front sprocket and it lifts In 1st and 2nd....if you pin it in 1st it comes up in 2nd a LOT well myne does I will try and get a video up haha
by old bike lifted on standerd gering at 25mph right up nere vertical with out clutching it in 2nd. powere valve was peged open thou. yep i heavy to 17 stone.
lol sick m8 a wana try it on a field you just bounce of ya head if it all goes wrong lol.. im only 9 stone myself i fight to keep both my full power dt's noses down, give it any cluch an im up. not realy good cos i crap myself im not that practised yet but im gettin better
lol i wish i was 9 stone and i dident use the cluch to make it lift at all and i still have the restricted down pipe lol so that is why im so impressed and why it wasent staying up longer but it still did wheel lifting my fat arse XD
