I have a DEP silencer fitted to a standard pipe and the part that slips over is bigger than the pipe, i think it had some rubber there but it has perished. What do other people use to fill this gap.??
just like a lil rubber collar thing, with two jubilee clips. the guy who had it before me used a bmx grip no good, all melted inside it, i think it might have something to do with the exhaust being blocked, saving for a dep.
Radiator hose from a car along with hose clips and some exhaust repair paste does the job very nicely mate. I had the same issue when I bought my DEP pipe.
rubber bung with two jubilee clips will work fine,done it on loads of dt's with no leaks mate, or if you dont have them wrap lots of kitchen foil around the smallest side and sqeeze it together or buy a decent front pipe lol
