speaking from experience I wouldnt bother with bigone.. the front pipes are ****e. rot quicker than a stock pipe.. not bad for £100 tho.. the tail is expensive but better than stock and removeable baffles! Could buy a dep tail for the price tho and know it wont rust.... I only paid £50 for my bigone tail pipe at the local bike shop.. front pipe I got secondhand for £30..

ive got both parts now, dont want to keep the expansion tho, dad wanted me to keep the exhaust black so that its not so obvious to the police (he said he would buy it if it was black to lol) so its the best one i could get, i want a standard expansion thats gutted ... if anyone has one let me know please :D ... so that i dont need to use a dep exhaust that will rust keep ..... i thought dep silencer rusted? i swear ive seen that abit rusted up??

Sorry I meant corrode ..

Aluminum corrodes but it does not rust. Rust refers only to iron and steel corrosion.

Aluminum is actually very prone to corrosion. However, aluminum corrosion is aluminum oxide, a very hard material that actually protects the aluminum from further corrosion. Aluminum oxide corrosion also looks a lot more like aluminum, so it isn't as easy to notice as rusted iron.

When iron corrodes the color changes and it actually expands. This expanding and color change can produce large red flakes that we all know as rust. Unlike aluminum oxide, the expanding and flaking off of rust exposes new metal to further rusting. This why it is so important to provide a barrier so rust doesn't start.
