does any one no if the brembo brake will be alrite to use in the dtre front wheel and disk?as i have a spare one as the standered dtr one is cr*p

No it wont fit (withouth having a bracket made up) because the original disk is a LOT smaller than the X disk.

And i agree,after using the brembo and going back down to the nissin there is a huge difference in braking ability!

Might be worth fitting a new piston and seal kit to your caliper along with a braided brake hose and some sintered pads because 'making' a bracket is not a simple job if you want it to be both safe and look good.

have fun getting a bracket made up..

oh and on the topic of sintered pads.. you gotta run them as a pair.. cant run organic rear and sintered front.. read it somewhere.. ebc site or something..

as Ben said by the way hello mate (its tzrman1984 from 125 sb !!) braided lines and uprated pads ftw although i would personally recommended fitting a better master cylinder and reservoir on the bars this should make a good improvement don't go silly though

I put an RGV250 master cylinder and a TZR125R 4-pot caliper onto my old 125lc and the braking power was tremendous - if I was honest it was too much and would simply lock the front wheel if you were not mega careful.

lol im thinking about fitting a rs 125 mastercylider and braided lines to my dtr  have thought a about  a 4 ot brembo of the 4dl but surely on knobblies this would be over kill ?
