FRONT FORK EXTENDED SPACERS (STIFFER SUSPENSION).

Ive put a pair of these in my 2005 DTR.
I was so impressed with the result ive decided to help out ther riders.
They make the soft suspension harder on the front end and help with cornering.
Dead easy to fit.

ive done it with these from carl .... im heavy, much better for me, much better riding position i find.
doesnt bounce in the corners, dead easy to fit smile.gif

its hard enough not to dive in corners and under breaking, but soft enough to give a nice comfortable ride, i can still go all the way to work (22 miles lol)

btw .. my bikes a 2003 dtr so it fits them too smile.gif

Surely you could buy a bit of steel pipe from a local engineering company for a couple of quid(probably free) and cut it to size yourself?
Even adding the price of a hacksaw it would probably still come in at less than 5 quid :)

Remove old spacer from forks (could be easily done at the engineers)
Ask for 2 of them 50mm longer.
Throw them in the forks and job done...

I'm not trying to be silly here,i just dont see the point in spending £13.50 when you could get the same thing for nothing. It's only a piece of hollow SS tube after all biggrin.

You could even make you're own adjustable spacer:

Either way would be less than half the price of the ebay one...
