hmmm it looks like a temporary puncture repair string/band, they are good to get you home if you've had a puncture at the road side because you can fit them without having to remove the tyre but i wouldnt use them as a long term solution to a puncture.
they are like rubber strings you cover in this glue then poke through the puncture hole then let it dry for a few mins and cut off the excess.
if it does turn out to be one of these then i recomend you get a perment solution to fix your tyre, i.e a repair on the inside of the tyre OR a whole new tyre.
Thanks for that Rudi mate, that looks about right well done, of course brought the wheels of someone on here, so surely they would of known I dunno but I am gonan find out, thanks once again mate
It is indeed a puncture repair. I did that when i first got the bike and it never lost a bit of air at all (Done plenty of 100mph trips with it like that.) I have used these repair kit's for years on all my cars and bikes upto speeds of 150mph and i have never had one single problem with them.
I forgot to mention it to you because i didn't think it was important because the rear tyre was needing changed anyway. You can trust it though like i say i've used them for years.(had one in my old vfr800 and toured scotland on that at 140+mph without problem)
Sorry for the late reply,i have just moved house and i'm still awaiting my internet connection being turned on.I'm currently sat in the back of my van parked outside of someone's house using their wifi connection :) Downloading a movie while i'm here :).
