frame????

my friend crashed into the back of my 07 dt,   he came into me as i was U turning.

my bike is ok,   still moves,   only that the frame from the seat is bent ( the tail part is bent, not in-line with the wheels anymore) and when i go over bumps the back/rear suspension doesn't work as it used to. but the suspention pushes down fine when i push the bike seat down when it's standing.   maybe its shock absorber or something.  i don't know,

would anyone maybe shine some light on me on how i can bring my babe back to normal or better.

please help me out guys.      do i need a new frame? -  can i get it bent back? - do i need rear shocks or suspension?

help please!!!!!!!!!!

Take it to a garage that has a jig and they will tell you if it's repairable or not . DO NOT continue to ride it while the frame is bent , it can cost you your life .

It may be that you need a new frame , especially if it's so bad you can notice it in the suspension .

....or you could take the seat / rear plastics off and use a large scaffold pole to straighten the seat rails out again ; )

I've done this loads of times and as long as you dont do it like a gorrila you will be fine

PS this wont sort out the strange suspension not working situation out - get Yamaha or a mate who knows what they are doing to check it over

You need to have a dig about in the back of your headlamp unit, with the bars tilted to the left you'll find a thin black rubber bung with some wires in it, peal back the rubber and find the green/black wire, conect a length of wire to this and then earth it to the frame......
