Thanks lads I really like your feedback, been hard work of course not as hard as what seiki's been through but been mad sometimes..............Yeah seiki mate them storage things are about 100 quid, (also called bike barns) alot of money I know but seems to keep the bike dry and its been raining hard the last few days so it does work, bike also fits in well,

Still got a few things to do to the bike, the headlight is not wired up yet still trying to work out how that goes, thinking of moving the indys a tad down, also, the orginal exhaust has now been gutted just got to get it welded back up and painted etc, most of the stainless steel nuts/bolts/washers are now now so makes it look better.....

Craig mate number 7 has been my lucky number since I can remember, always played number 7 in football back in the days, and not to go on that number seems to have popped up in my life all over the years, and YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS mate grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr thats poxy duck tape on the seat, poxy seat cover has split on the left hand side at the back, so now I got to invest in a new one somewhere along the line, I was gonna get that black and white Yamaha seat cover, but I think it will be to much in your face, if anyones got any suggestions please let me know smile.gif!!!!!

hmmmmm
you might be able to get one custom done by a dress shop .. tbh might not be perfect in the end anyways and cost you a fair bit!!

hmmm dunno.

btw, talking out of place, your bike is awesome but i think the original DT stickers on the tank look abit old n out of place? anyone else think so?

looking sweet m8

Loving this bike at the moment, think the black seat looks better, the yamaha tank sticker looks fine, inline with the www.dtr123.co.uk sticker, where do you get them from ???

Cheers lads, cant do nothing with the tank stickers i really dont want them there at all, but they seem to how can I explain this, actually glossed on to the tank, if there is a way of getting them off I would be more then happy to hear, other then that its a new plain black tank, Frog mate all you have to do is go on ebay and type in either custom stickers or personalised stickers and they will come up most people on ebay will do whatever size/colour you ask for like mine as 200mm long by 50mm width it is that easy mate smile.gif spent lots of money on it the last month to get it where it is now, so gonna leave the tank for now and have a think, just got to put original exhaust (gutted) and got to spray it then that back on plus a swingarm to sort out smile.gif

Yeah the pwodercoaters sandblasted the fcukers off there lol

You cant just rip them off cause as you know they arent just stuck on like normal stickers . If it wasnt for them I wouldnt have bothered coating the tank , the paint was fine before

Be careful though mate , make sure all petrol + smell is gone before even taking it to a powedercoater . Mine sat outside and empty for near a year so it was easy for me . Remember it goes in an oven so also check that it's got no reapirs to it that isnt pure metal .

Hey patman, i got you a pic of the wiring on my headlight, wasnt sure if you had sorted yours yet.

Join the 2 black (earth) wires and attach them to the connector on the left.
Join the 2 yellow (full beam) wires and attach them to the connector on the right.
the Green (dip beam) goes to the connector in the middle.

the little side light is pretty simple as you can see from the pic, just connect it up as i have.

My bike is a 1991 ben mate so I take it the tank/rad panels are from a 88-97 is it? something like that? I do wanna get rid of the grey on the tank, but they are not comming off as you all know, unless I go over them with stickers maybe? deffo gonna have to think about it,

Craig mate I might invest in a dtx swingarm somewhere down the line but for now got another swingarm to put on wish could be a few months yet will have to see smile.gif

Cheers mate smile.gif the gutted pipe is better I think although its only got one bolt in at the moment cos the other one is snapped inside the manifold, not good I know, so cant comment really to thats done, although in higher gears theres a lot more pull if your cruising along you dont have to change down a gear the power seems to be there still, the gutted pipe sounds more beefy then the dep as you know, the wheels are great they seem to hold better of course, but one big change I have noticed is the brembo caliper man thats sharp as foooooooooook, hold well with the burnouts too which is fantastic smile.gif

Lmao patmans burnouts. Get vid up mate ;)

sorry to tell you m8, we arent using dtr125.co.uk anymore, its dt125.co.uk (for your sticker)

haha yeah i bet thats descent, my brakes still arent how i want themnonono they are fine for normal use but for when your going quickly they are pants.

yeah the gutted pipe pulls SO much better for me, coming of a big one pipe, big one pipe was still quick though!! just lacked pulling in low revs .. nice kick up the revs though..

Yeah I have noticed that now mate but didnt realise so took sticker off as you can see, and just put a normal one on as thought site had closed altogether, I need a new back tyre soon anyway so will pop that one haha and get a vid lol, the bike seems to still be quick on bottom end, just got to get this bolt out not sure how I am gonna do it though, need to get the speedo working first, I am not sure if it matters if the speedo drive is from a dtr or dtx, but the speedo cable is a dtx I got it from seiki awhile ago, the garage seem to think theres a mismatch somewhere? but apparently looking at the manual when you look inside the speedo drive you have to line it up with the rings or something, something I didnt do i dont think!!!!!
