Rear Fender HPIRES
Permalink

Most people ask about the HPIRES rear fender , it looks a bit more up to date and is actually made for the DT so no modding . It's cheaper than a replacement OEM rear fender as well .

You CAN try getting one from HPIRES themselves but good luck , it's near impossible from the UK . Your second and best option is eBay , it's where I got mine and few other members too .

This is the guy you want , eBay member is filed7071 who is based in Portugal .

He does ALL the DT colours , just look in his shop >>> filed7071 <<< . He also does all the body plastics  (INFO also in HPIRES sticky) , just search his shop .

Example :

Don't know anyone who has but I'd be interested to see what you end up paying , sounds like a better option than paying fees . Can say a few people have bought off his eBay shop so is as safe as anybody really .

this includes all the plastics, stickers, tail tidy and seat cover for 217 euros (£192)were as on ebay he wanted 207 (£182)minus the tail tidy so not bad i suppose so u end up with a tail tidy for £10

I went to a screw shop . You know the kind where it's some weird old man in some old shop he's had since the war . Spent about £10 and got stainless steel bolts for stuff all through my bike , plastics etc .

Find a shop local to you that looks like this http://www.modern-screws.co.uk/

As for size I only know by looking . Take your old bolts off and take them to the store and ask them to match them , then get spare ones .

Yeah I was going to say the bit more expensive option is that eBay sale but couldnt find them . Easier just getting them .

The plate can be as small as you like , it's the letters you have to worry about .
