Carrying rack?

Is anyone aware of a carry rack I can bolt on to the back of the 54 plate DTRE? Just needs to be big enough or a 5-litre petrol can or similar.

TIA! beer.gif

yeh they are something like £40-50.. Very rarely come up on ebay...

Ive carried loads on my bike (even a technics 1210 and on another occasion a hifi amp and 2x bookshelve speakers) and I dont have a rack.. I put stuff half on the back of the seat and strap it down with bungies...

thats nothing... try my old mans triumph 750 bonne into the back of an austin metro. I kid you not.. fair enough it was hanging half out and rear seats where flat but none the less it got home in the back of a metro.

anyhow back on to my point you can carry alot on a dt without a rack smile

I took the 200WR apart - did the same with my old RS125 when I brought that home.

Still managed 100+ on the way home too ; )

sump aka bash guard (as 2t dont have sumps) can be made from 5mm alu piece of cake.. rear rack is a diff kettle of fix but I bet it could be done with a few bits of alu..

like I said though.. secondhand racks (not the older ones) are rare as hens teeth.. I dont think ive ever seen on ebay in all the years Ive been trawling for dt/dtre/dtx parts
