CLUNK

everytime i brake sharply or go over a big bump i hear a big clunk from the forks, it got worse yesterday because i took a large speedbump at high speed.

Anyone got any idea as to whats making the noise? it doesnt bother me tbh as the forks are working fine, but i would like it sorted before it gets worse.

Wheel bearing
Headset bearing
Spokes
Loose disc / caliper
Worn fork bushes

Could be anything but sounds like its worth investigating asap.

might i just add that its fine when the suspension is compressing but when its on its way back out thats when it clunks.

Defo not wheel bearing, defo not headset, defo not spokes or lose caliper. .....possibly bushes because i dont know where they are or how to test them.

get the bike up on stand and grab fork legs.. give em a push and pull.. if theres play and its not the head bearings then its prob fork bushes..

clunk could just be the springs uncoiling? mine does it sometimes and im sure mine are fine..
