Whats bluewater seiki? It's a shopping complex isnt it?
looks strainge like its surrounded by cliffs or something. The DT's looking good mate
I went out with a mate on our DT's, we went watching a classic trials bike competition, nice day for it and a round trip about 60 miles.
a sample pic

Oh man that looks like heaven compared no , wish I could find somewhere like that around here that ISNT bloody marshlands !!!

Bluewater is a huge shopping complex mate , it's in the middle of a crater they dug out , the walls look good for pics but you cant get close to them unfortunately .. unless going down lol . It's good for onroad I guess cause it has loads of winding roads surrounding it which is technically private property .

Been loving it so far until today man . Powervalve or servo started mucking about and has got me worried .

leave home bike rides like normal . Stop for fags and set off again , bikes all boggy in all gears and doesn't ride properly till after a minute or so . After I took those pics the same thing again , boggy in all gears until a minute or so then rode normally . Get home , switch bike off/on and I don't hear the servo whirring .

Go back down an hour later , turn it on/off and servo works , try again and it doesn't ( wtf ) . start bike , rev for a bit then turn it off and I can hear servo turning off . It's very weird because it works fine once bike is moving .

Woll reckons it might be my battery and I think he could be right , checked all wires are connected and everything seemed fine .

lol so yeah up to today I've been loving it , try and get out any chance I get .

I'm not too far from Kent , once I find someone to ride with  who wont whoosh off at 100mph (furious) , hopefully I'll venture out that way and try some country roads .

The most tricky thing I've done so far is ride the West End during rush hour . THAT was a mission and a half , it's amazing the gaps you fit in once forced lol

Yeah youre right, I should wash my mouth out. Me too cant stand being stuck in traffic, it's straight to the front of any queue and then the old 'Traffic lights grand prix' wink

does sound like the battery... is it new? if so could be not charging.. you will noticed the servo moves slower on a crappy battery.. mine does anyway and its crappy for a mile or so and then runs sweet.. bit weird that it is intermitent tho (sp?)

tis nice to get out and just ride once in a while.. Im always having to go/be somewhere so I hardly ride my bike for pleasure (my 89 is for that when it gets MOT'd)

and word of warning seiki....I got a £30 ticket for a LEGAL plate at that angle. didnt matter how much I contested. mate of mine got done too and he had an acerbis (I think) tail light/no plate holder and its meant to have the plate at that angle.. officer said it was an attempt to evade speed cameras!! Apparently plate should be as it would out of factory.. If I had both L plates and not just a front I wouldve gone to court and fought it. Traffic cop aswell and once they got u u gotta bend over...

Riding in London is mental but good fun if you can handle it - last time I was there on my old Tuono it was like the Moto-GP at every set of traffic lights and no one, but no one on a bike ever sits in traffic.

LOL if you got a bike and sit in traffic you might aswell get a car.. I dont get people who do that and I LOVE filtering past them... Prob to scared to go down the middle with oncoming traffic... fark em all.. Im coming through MOVE THE F*** OVER... I wouldnt try it with old bill coming your way though.. crossing the centre line is asking for a slap wrist!

yeh most of the time they cannot be arsed but if it fills there quota for the day or they need to book a few people for figures they will get ya.. I rode past a popo on a bike filling up at a station yesterday and I was doing almost 50 in a 30.. I did the best *slowing down without making it obvious* that you ever seen and he was looking right at me... I shouldve waved but I didnt wanna take the piss LOL

LOL a PCOS pulled me over a few months back and was like "why are you riding in the bus lane" I pointed at a roadsign 20 yards away that stated bikes were allowed in that particular bus lane... he looked gutted...

thats right mate... walk away... noddy...

TBH majority are nice as pie when I take my lid off.. prob expect a chavvy 17 year old with no respect to the law or anyone.. I had one try me for having no L on the back... I took out a nice fresh L plate from my bag complete in original packaging and price tag... "yeh I got one, just bought it and gonna put it on when I get to my garage which is 6 miles away" (it had been in my bag for weeks) his reply was.....

Best £1.25 you've ever spent cos its just saved you a £30 ticket. Im done here. good day and off he rode.

You can blag your way out of anything.. just need the gift of the gab as they say.. I got myself out of no CBT (they cant check that only ask to produce which they didnt cos its hard to get insurance unless u have cbt or they just renew policy and dont ask like mine, no MOT (essentially void insurance which = bike pounded), illegal plate with custom slogan off "Yeh I know im a f*cking idiot", aftermarket pipe, Non CE headlights, Illegal tyres (full on knobblies blatant illegal), no indies, worn front pads (on the metal), no rear L, winged about a slack chain too... I got a £30 ticket for the plate and producer to which I quickly got MOT (bike had past 3 yr old 6 months by then).. Police biker too!! Thats is more jammy than hartleys.. was bricking it as I knew they were gonna rape me for everything but the popo was an absolute gent.. I couldve man hugged him I tell ya!!!

I can tell you some stories about getting tugged. ALWAYS managed to get out of it! but then Ive had at least 4x £30 for illegal plate which done my head in so much drawing attention that I just have a legal one now..

It will happen eventually. I go months and months were I never see a popo then Il get stopped and they try and do me for something (make it worth there while like) be a good boy and they wont bother unless they find a reason and even then they do you for the smallest thing just to give u a fine aka slap wrist..

Just by having a dep thus being derestricted and above 12bhp your insurance is void = pounded bike. thats £100 recovery and so much per day ontop.. You just gotta say its got a sports pipe but my bike has an unpassable electronic restriction and I replaced it with aftermarket because standard is twice as expensive.. shiny pipes draw attention!!!

Cheers for the heads up guys ...

You see there's quite a few things that would land me in trouble with the law , wont list them all but I know about them . The thing I'm going on is the area really . IE they will pull you over in Leeds lets say for tinted windows , but they never have where I live . same with bike really and it's like you say , it's how you deal with them . If you act thick they'll treat you thick . take the time to realise they had a valid reason for stopping you then it shouldnt be too bad .

I'll never complain about getting in trouble over any modification I do , I know the score and getting upset would just be gay of me . Truth is if I was forced to change all the illegal things about my bike I'd rather sell it and get something else .

I was stopped in the first week of riding it , police road block and they pulled me for no reason . I know it was for no reason cause the van up front alerted the others to stop me , when they did they were asking each other why I got stopped . Looked at bike , said it looks nice then sent me on my way . passed a few traffic cops on bikes too but all going the other way , that's who I'm worried about tbh .

Playing dumb can work , ie if they asked about the DEP , they don't know if I know it's illegal , so playing dumb would help out . Playing dumb about not having a horn is a different matter lol .

Wide open roads have started to annoy me , the Dt really doesn't have the power to make a 10 mile stretch of road fun , I love traffic , look for it everywhere lol . The traffic light GP is the most fun but fcuk me some of these bigger bikes need to get the hell out the way !!

They sit at the back of traffic chatting , I filter past , they catch me by the next lights then block me again wtf !!!

the insurance company's must hate paying out for broken zimmer frames and walking sticks. common things to break when attached to a mobility scooter during a crash.
