DT125.jpg

Heres my new 2005 Plate DT125 with DEP exhaust and Renthal Handle Bar plus full Enduro Tyres...

Rides very nicely, although the tyres just ain't meant for the road... got if for green laning mainly to take test on at a later date.

Not sure if its derestricted or not, but very fast off the mark and can prob wheelie in 1st,2nd and 3rd although not tried lol

ah, its still not electronically derestricted.

the powervalve shuts at 65 to stop you going faster.

take the headlight cowel off, theres a block with 4 wires, remove the green/black wire from the block, take a length of wire and attach it to a screw on the frame. Bike should put off the clocks now :D

is it a full dep? shiny front pipe and alloy silencer?

Yes full DEP front and Alloy... Thanks for that will try that sometime, will that increase rev's or just speed over 65 and will fuel economy be much the same unless going over 65mph?

Many Thanks

ive never had my DT restricted..

but apparently it will be exactly the same as it is now up to 60, but instead of slowing down and stopping accelerating it will carry on with that push, MPG will be the same if you dont go over 65 yes.. but you will.. haha

my bike with just the dep went off the clock but it will be load better if you do the wire thing mate and when mine was restricted with the standered exhaust it still went off the clock?but yeah de ristricted fully you should get 85 maby 90

my mate got clocked on his dtx at 95 by a ninja 600 but that was right tucked down under the bars behind a lorry lol

as for your mpg mate it may sound weird but i found that when i put a dep on both of my dts the mpgs has been better :)
