Does anyone know would this do the job on the DT? although I am not sure about the  diameter bit so not sure if this would work....Link below

yes mate but you will have extend the wire for the sensor and make a bracket for the speedo sensor....other than that it will work....i have used a push bike speedo in the past and worked ok aswell......

Thats wicked thanks mate I got to sort this bit out the speedo bit, bikes in the process of having a top end rebuilt at the moment, gonna be rebored, and head skimmed next week and new piston kit, and in a few months time the bikes up for sale smile.gif!!!!!
