As my bike doesn't go over 80 km/h (revs will go down after that, although there's lots of power left), I wanted to remove the speedo restriction. I found the damn reed switch, but then discovered it had been cut already. I connected the wire back together, taped it up, removed the reed switch from the speedo and tucked it away from the speedo. On the test ride my bike didn't go over 7000 rpm after I hit the 3rd gear.
gears have nothing to do with the engin not pulling cut both the wires then try it pepole say to leave the switch ther dont see the point unles you want to restrict it agen
