It should do, nathan (the one whos posted above lol) has an exhaust from a DTR on his DTRE and that seems to fit fine.. Ask the place where your getting it from they might know.. but obviously me n nathan arent gonna give liability if it doesnt fit..

yeah i have a front pipe off gazzaballs DTR, it fits fine, there is a bracket there that you would be able to fit onto a DTR, DTRE/X dont seem to have that bracket

The price of exhaust is $650 singapore dollars from distributer here. i have already email arrow special parts and this is what they replied to me.

"thank you very much for contacting Arrow Special Parts.Concerning your enquiry, you should check in your bike registration book if the vehicle type is: DE06 var.1 ver.1 o DE06 var.1 ver.2 o DE06 var.2 ver.1 o DE06 var. I ver.II.If it matches with one of the vehicle type above it means that it is possible to fit Arrow products onto 1997 model."

The problem is i'm not the first owner and i'm probably the 8th owner. I don't have bike registration book and how am i able to know the bike version? What is actually the difference that make the exhaust couldn't fit?

christ thats expensive £330, why dont you order a DEP full system, it will definatley fit, and we know that they are good.

there's no dep distributes here. i can order dep exhaust anytime from overseas and its easy to get the 1997 version. The problem is i need to send for inspection after installation. If i dun it will be $500 fine for first timer. For the arrow exhaust its approved by the authority. I guess thats the only aftermarket exhaust approved here cos its quite an old bike.
