Fork oil seals

This may sound like a stupid question............I got a oil leak in my right fork (obviously new oil seals needed) how long can I ride the bike for, until things get really bad? as I wont beable to change them till thursday, and need to ride the bike for the next few days............of course oil has come out of it in the middle just need some advice thats all, thanks lads smile.gif!!!!!

If it aint pissing out you'll be fine for a few hundred miles lol, just keep the oil topped up, but if its leaking badly personally i wouldn't ride it ( i rode my bandit for 300 miles with a leaking fork seal and it was fine) So if it only leaves a small oil ring it will be ok.

cheers lads, done the safe thing though and getting them changed cant be assed to do it myself so booked it in, thanks anyway oh and not riding it to there done!!!!!

dunno mate all you got to do is find the year of the bike or in my case the year of the forks as I got sm conversion and then should be ok
