i think i made mine 10mm shorter i have also seen pepole cut and weld the standard ones

i was thinking of doing this but once ground smooth id be forever wondering if there would be enough weld to hold it.

i would trust it but i would not bother grinding the weld welding is meant to be just strong as the mettal welded ive seen many pepole make them out of alumineum som idiot i know made it out of 2.5 alumineum and it snaped landing a jump on a mx track
