Yeah it's really easy.

Sitting on the seat, on the left side of the bike, on the side of the engine cylinder the round thing is the pulley housing for the powervalve. Undo the 2 allen headed bolts, remove the cover, looking at the pulley turn the ignition key on it should whine 3 times then the pulley itself should leave a gap up the top with is lined with a hole, undo the big bolt in the middle, take the pulley off and remove the cables, replace the pulley, make sure the gap is still aligned with hole and put a drill bit through the gap into the hole to lock is into place. Put the cover back on and start up the bike. Now it should sound deep, remove the snorkle under the seat if you want it even deeper. Should be done, the power delivery is very different, enjoy!

Welcome to the world of the DT125 power band, no bottom end and loads more top. :) Your right about the PV making the bike sound deeper when I pinned my PV open I thought I had ****ed something up because the bike was much louder.

Although I had already shortened the DEP silencer by quite a bit the combination of the PV pinned and shortened DEP made for a very loud 125.

yeh pinning pv open makes it sound alot deeper. ive unplugged the servo on my 04 before when pv was open and man it sounded **** hot.. ran like **** though..

taking snorkel off makes the tone sound deeper.. but that be enough to make the engine run lean.. check your plug if you do this...
