Haha, makes you think how they sent me £1320 for repairs dont it!

Yeah dogs coming along lovely, like ripping plants out and dragging them through the house though furious.

No mate still fecked, i live locally to M&P's
http://www.mandp.co.uk/
The other week or so they had a event in the car park, loads of sale items, dragging people across the car park with those Kevlar jeans on, a ZX10 wheelie machine, proper bike aswell, front wheel was attatched by rope to the machine, back sprocket was HUGE, was as big as the wheel itself!! They had R&G stalls ect. and there was a Shoei stall with Shoei techs, I let them take a look at my helmet, they said "Mate thats absoluteley F****D, never wear that again!", so I'm waiting now for them to pay out on the helmet as I need a helmet as mine is deemed 'dangerous', just have to see what happens!

Aha taking the insurance company for all they've got haha!

Do like that helmet actually. Nice.

Don't do all the repairs on the bike lol, how much are you getting for personal injury?

To right mate!
It was on offer for £130, which im claiming £270 for it,
as thats the only price on can find now!

Havent mate, spent 400 and that everthing, saved myself £900 by getting touch up for the bike instead of new tank and doing labour myself!

Tindy dent and scratch, looks like more scratches but thats the way the light caught on the dent, £24 for right paint, basepaint and laquer and some filler, bit o' elbow grease sanding down, snorted!

Hmmmmm might be slightly harder than that - it wont look as good as that does - id get it powdercoated if it was me. But then it gets rid of some of the Stephen Everts edition or whatever it is lol

Its not really wrecked haha! how much did you get for just the tank?

Im confused on 2 things - why they didnt just write your bike off, and why they gave you the money not a garage haha smile.gif you got very lucky id say mate

Na mate my bampas was a professional in that field of things, also the paint and things are from who yamaha themselves recommended, as they specialise is the correct paints for bike, like my color blue is DPBMC(deep purplish blue metallic ****tail) :S!

Persuasion mate, they had run up over £2500 on my courtesy bike as it was £48 a day, so the said we are not admitting liability, so my accident management were taking the piss from what it seems, i said give me the insuance companies number, i then called them and said look your running a bill up and i need my bike, they offered me £1320 for repairs, they said they wont cover the tax part as its a settlement, if you can prove every penny was spent on bike repairs +/- £50, we will refund the tax to you, but obv i have done it myself, saving me a good bit, New tank would be 550 inc tax, or paint is £24 :).

I never said it was wrecked haha, its just loads of little bits that add up!

**Oh yeah, repairs in total would be £1020, deeming it not enough to write it off, no frame, fork, engine or wheel damage either, as it's priced as £2500 on insurance and the assessor said himself he could see it was pristine before crash, they would be paying top book too write it off, so in that respect would have cost close to a grand more than what repairs were.

Getting a DRZ now anyway, theory is booked for 28th :D:D.

Hmmmmmmm id check that paint code mate, because that is DTR paint not RE, RE doesnt have metallic paint, DTR has purplish blue metallic paint lol.

Ah thats fair enough then, get some personal injury stuff aswell, you can pay for my rise in insurance cuz of you next year yeah??? Haha.

Looking good mate :) will it still be there when you pass though lol?

If you have an iPod touch/iPhone its a really good way to practise theory.. the computer ones i bought all broke somehow.. probably my laptop tbh.. the phone ones much better though smile.gif

You can choose hose color and connector color, they come with banjo bolts and copper washers aswell, and you can opt for a back one.

Yeah mate was chuffed, cant wait to get the test underway now :)

Good luck, I get loads of looks riding a DT-R without L-plates but funnily enough I have never been pulled by the Police when as a teenager I always longed for the day I would and could then pull out a full licence!

Similar thing happened to me, i was gonna the gym once on my XR 250 and i filtered through traffic past them at about 40MPH in a 30MPH zone (Didn't see them until the last minute) Rode up a massive hill at about 65MPH in a 40MPH zone then just after i was turning into the gym i was doing jumps and wheelies all over the speed bumps and then i locked my bike up and just as i was about to start walking into the gym they pulled up (I then **** myself and thought that they've caught me speeding or dangerous driving lol) and all they asked was why i didn't have L plates and i said it's a 250 and i asked if they wanted to see my FULL licence, they seemed proper gutted that they couldn't get me done for it and said that they didn't wanna see my licence and they buggered off lol
