Shake your tank :D ............ on a serious note I dont think there is a way.. would mean modding the tank which shouts leaks!

I tend to fill up when I get to 100 miles lol.

Buy a sender unit and drill a hole in your tank to suit it...weld/seal it up then run in the electrics for it (2 wires)

In theory it's easy but in practise it's a lot of hassle you really don't need... I mean why could you possibly need a gauge ? You have a reserve tap which gives you at very least 10+ miles!
