so your not going for dep becasue everyone else has one, so you best get rid of ya bike then, these pleople that have dep pipes also have dtr's

dtr is cheaper and is better, i think its quite funny!

DTR-mat no offence what so ever but that didn't make much sense to me.
Gooner DEP is the best you can get for performance, so many people have them because they are renowned to be the best for a DT, you dont see many Arrow's and Gianelli's, cant really comment but have heard the Arrow is not bad, but DEP all the way mate i say.

i had been wondering about that, had no other dt's to compair to, got the jetting dialed in low down now has a bit more bottom but the powerband is still sky high, its strong just doesn't last long, might see about getting another pipe as would like to occasionally not be red lining it lol!

the reason you dont find many pepole with them because a dep is the cheper option and easy to get hold of

Stand by my comment, Arrows are piss to get hold of, and so are Giannellis, should take at max an hour of looking to find them all. Took me less than 5 minutes to get all these, because i know where these are.

Gianelli

DEP

Hey guys I'm abit of a novice I got my dtr 125 about 3 months ago and got recommended to this site , this is a Quick question my pipe has gone a lil to rusty and am thinking of rubbing it down and spraying it with heat resistant paint/spray and am not totaly sure. Of the process to stop it coming off , any one got any ideas?

Hi hoganator, if it's the standard exhaust just give it a good rub down, clean it up and get rid of all the lose rust then give it a good coat of heat proof paint, hand paint or spray don't really matter but I prefer hand paint as you can put it on a bit thicker.

I'd not spent to much money or time on it as the rust will only eventually come through again and it has to be redone again.

This is what I do but others may have some better advice.

Hope that helps mate.

Same procedure as Kev except I used a spray on my standard.

After a few layers you could put a clear high temp laquer on it, might just help to prolong it.

Full DEP mate...

Made a massive difference in:

- Power
- Sound's GREAT
- Look's GREAT
- Weigh's like a quater of the standard exhaust

Go for the DEP mate i have never regretted it biggrin

I've had/tried them all, they all feel the same, all do the same, just sound differnt, the DEP imo sounds/feels best, arrow sounds like the bike is constapated and the giane' makes the bike sound electric... DEP all the way.
And like DTR-Mat said: best get rid of the bike if you "don't want the same" I bet your DT is Blue, Black, or White, just like everyone elses ;)
