hey, im new to the site an ive almost finished my dtr "tart up" i bought it when it was hanging, dirty with **** bodywork so tell us what u think now

How well did you get the graphics to stick on the painted panels?? i tried nd failed

Cheers, yea i have orderd a seat cover but its taken bout 3 months cuz the portugeese tit lost it in the post (twice!)

they stuck quite well actualy i was surprised how well the paint stuck to the panel actually

i been workin as a car bodywork painter for bout 2 years now but easyly preferer paintin bikes! so i blag the boss to let me paint my bike, its handy when uv got an oven to work in an not cramped in the garage, thanks for the welcome to the site aswell, i been on here as a guest scince i had the bike but didnt want to start uploading pictures before i was close to finishing!

I painted my old DT-R panels when I worked at Dream Machine many moons ago (all white) and eventually the paint started to craze and slowly came off - I used some thing called 'plasto-flex' which was a flexible primer designed for the job too.....

yea i used an elastisizer and painted it bout a year ago and its been ok so far. the other painter at my work had his rd painted at dream machine and that looked amazing, thats the kinda place i wanna work!

Nice. I had that front tenco exhaust on ma DT Just keep an eye on it esp. if its a DT with a pinned PV or a de-restricted DT the paint will come of very quick.
