just wanted to know will it go through the mot with it on ? also how bright is the brake light ment to be on them as it doesnt seem to bright unless ive wired it wrong ??
You need to get the angle right or it wont work very well, its LED so unless your looking onto them level on they are poor.
The way I got mine sorted was to pack washers onto the single bolt so it forced it to point more upwards, then just keep playing with it until it looks good from around the height of sitting in a car :)
same as mine... will needa number plate light but u can get them in bolt form http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTRAX-LED-CHROME-BOLTS-Number-Plate-Lights-Bike-Cars-/290531818473?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item43a50bbbe9#ht_1335wt_905
How do Tail Tidys fit? I've been looking into buying one, but I'm not too sure if I need to get new rear fender ( I have the original Yammy one atm, but I'm thinking of getting "filed7071's" rear fender) will tailtidy fit "filed7071's" rear fender also? cheers
ahhh drill holes.. I did that with my small led rear light... and now i've got partially grinded down screws poking up which is MOT Fail.. what should I used insted to cover the ends of the bolts to hole tail n tidy on? anyone got pics of this done close up? i dont want random nuts n bolts hanging out randomly
Im hoping to get that tail tidy soon, can i mount my L plate under the bike near the rear susp? how seiki has it. I know people have done it but is it completely legal... just incase i go get pulled.

screws ?? do you mean bolts ? if not use bolts lol
i had mine underneath until it rained and it fell off but its legal ur L plate just has to be visable no ive got none lol bike looks better and agint been pulled yet :)
Might have too put mine there then. Im sure when i was chatting to a copper the other day, it has to be underneath your numberplate. something the normal coppers dont really know or look for, but the traffic cops will probably mention. But then again, my number plate is too small anyway so who cares. lol
I punched 4 holes and zip tied it on. Technically its meant to be on the flattest surface rear facing.Visable to other drivers. Most obvious place is under the plate but that causes problems. You could stand there explaining that it would weaken your license plate if you made extra holes and/or your previous stuck on one blew off.
They would/could tell you that's BS and ticket you
I've known this and did it anyway just like ive always had illegal tints on my cars. For the most part you're left alone depending on where you live. In London police are busy with all sorts and it's rare they'll bother. But you always take that chance.
Add to the fact I had an illegal numberplate I didnt see the point in worrying about the L. I did get paranoid around bike cops though.
Someone on Youtube asked me if it was legal and then went and asked a cop, hang on i'll copy paste
" You'll be pleased to know I spoke to my local police station, I had to check with them as they can be quite harsh near me and slightest thing and they'd pull you.
Anyway, If it's mounted where you have it due to not being able to mount it under your plate securely it's okay. You'd have to explain if you were pulled that drilling the number plate would cause it to be in an weekend state. therefor can't secure it on the number plate, making your position choice bang on!! "
