hi so i have a slight problem atm i need to test if the eletrics and everything are working on the bike but my gf lost my old ignition key is there a way i can bypass the ignition barrel for now till i can buy a new one

slam a screwdriver down the barrel and twist...
I hope you're not asking this to steal a bike? :P

no lol its my bike u can see it in the projects section and does putting a screwdriver in really work lol

ha ha ha take that dtr i managed to figure it out i dissasembled the ignition barrel and bodged it to work

I presume all you did was just bridged the connection inside it to continuious cirulation rather than the key turning the switch to do it

And yeah the screwdriver thing does work, just allows you to turn the ignition to turn it to on, done it a few times on old bikes (not stolen ones x]) after either losing the key, or jus buying them without one

ye i dissmanteled the ignition and birdged the connections but instead of always being on ive used the internals so i can turn the bike back off if i want to
