If you want just rims then try companies like Hagon http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/ , they sell the spokes too. They arent Excell rims but good quality. If you arent planning on jumping off buildings it wont make any difference. Just avoid cheap brands and copies usually found on eBay.

It's not cheap to go this route and that's why people search for second hand DTX rims. Bare rims also come undrilled so they're built specific. Those Ebay ones just need 1 hole drilled wrong and they're useless.

You bought yours at hagon ? Are there any spoked wheels that you can buy and put on a dtr with minor modifications or without any ?
Dtx wheels are pretty rare. :(

No I did the longest route possible. I bought DTX wheels then rebuilt them at Hagon.

Where are you?

The reason I ask is you'd be better off asking that qusetion on the Portuguese DTR website. I've seen them use wheels from at least 6 different bikes.

In the UK we have TDR and DTX, those are pretty much the only 2 known wheels that can go on with minor modifications

I'm from Croatia. I think I saw that Portugese forum, but if I remember right it was only on Portugese so I couldn't understand a thing. I'l try to work something out.

Just one more quetion, that tail (rear mudguard) do you think it could fit a 2004 dtre ? It only needs to fit the frame, i can trim the seat the way you did it. :)

Yes mate it can fit the frame its just the seat and side panels that would foul it. easy to fix with a bit of modding im guessing
