Seiki, I rode mine for 1 year with just a cut down rear L plate, I hated having the front one on so didn't bother, I passed loads of police and never anything. I even gave way to a cop car on a narrow lane near my house and all he did was smile and wave :), but then again I guess it depends on the police in your area....

not had a prob so far but wear a hi viz and all the gear and im a big un so kinda dont look like a boy racer as such!!
Aboo there were two guys on a DT that i saw, 7,500 bikes in all.

 havant had a rear l plate for 6 months now, passed loads of police. most of which look at me. it all depends on how your riding. i wear all the right gear and dont really ride like a idiot so they generally just look the other way
