This is a (177x127)mm (7x5in) number plate im not too sure if this would be ok as I have YAMAHA DTR125 and this website address on which i thought was cool. Anyone have any thoughts on this
Cheeky robbers !! Just for that number plate it was gonna cost me £103.00. So did the same one but without the websites address on an that cost me £21.50. Still had the Yamaha dt125 on it tho and also got the holder to fit it hehe. Let me know what you think.
7x5's aren't supposed to be used on the road I'm almost certain you're not supposed to have a border on the plate either, but if it was on a fullsize plate i'm sure 99.9% of police wouldn't care/know The writing is blue, almost certain it has to be black (or silver on the old style metal plates) And the font like toy soldier said has to be blocked capitals
Good sides:
I think you're allowed a slogan at the bottom as many shops do that..
Despite me sounding so negative i've bought a 7X5 for my latest bike but am still to drill the holes and fit it..
i got my 7x5 for my ts for £5 from a mate been pulled twice and got a mot on it and they dident say a word about the plate size only thing they said was i had to clean the 2smoke off of it lmao

I dont think the lettering is that bad. I think il give it ago and see how I do. There are many cars out there that have the fancy letters. mammoth200 How much did you pay for that plate?
Techniclly it's illegal to have ANY lettering around your plate unless it just says GB. But police are pretty relaxed with it just like tinted front windows. You have to get a really bored cop to get points.
Looks good, i'd get the font more bold myself. not sure why but i've never been a fan of private plates. My bike syas K reg and I love peoples reaction when they realise how old it is.
lol that is true seiki yours dont look like a 1989 XD and if i got a privert plate it would have to have 02 in like my 02 dtr XD or dt 02 yam there the ones im looking at ones like £300 and ones £675
borders on the plates are legal got to be legal charles wright font at 64mm and have 11mm between characters also its legal to have 3d font and euro legal badges but the font in the firs pic will get ya fooked straight away in my opinion. im a numberplate maker and if ur gonna get a plate we always advise legal lettering as its a £60 on the spot fine for it

ehh, Lucky Barstool lol. did the last owner have you pay more coz of the plate ? Id of put a little wager on it if it were my bike lol. things like that dont always come cheap.
There's a real good plate maker in the back of mcn. They do loads of sizes and it's like 7quid with your own writing on the bottom. My dad just got one done for one of the ducati's and had 'spaghetti Bolognese' written on it... :D
And for the cheapest personalised plates, I think having 3 letters then four numbers is cheap. Your initials then date of birth :) bout £130 up... I want to get ALE then numbers lol
