The Belgarda TZR 125 is based on the 250 3MA, they just rammed a Uprated DTR engine in it, the 4DL CDi. It feels quite big too.. not like the older TZR or RD. 33HP as standard on these imports as well. using the delorto 32mm carb, and 12.8:1 compression. Its got the bigger bike feel to it. But hell of alot lighter. Once its all MOT`ed and sorted, then i might sell it. and get a GasGas.

My arm could always be twisted..

The amount miles i would be doing, my back is going to hate the TZR..lol

I like the TDR position, and they do it in a Belgarda too.. :) then again i will be always lusting over a gasgas 125SM

ray keep your eyes peeled chap.. Gumtree is a good place for bikes

The day is come that i have now 99% finished the TZR125R. Only 2 mirrors to get. here is the latest pix.

total cost of rebuild, 586 notes, plus the MOT to go.

Next is to add some fuel and push the starter button.
sadly tho iam deciding to sell, iam going to need a bike that can get me thru the module 1 test, the lock on these sports bikes are pants, i can see me failing doing the figure 8, and slarlem, not only the turn in the road.

I am going to sell, and get a really nice DT125RE or even a ktm 125exec. all tho, this bike is rather special in its own way, sadly going to miss the road fun this bike is capable of. make the new owner smile big time. if any wants a straight swap for a sorted minted DTRE SM or KTM125 get in touch, looking for the right bike.

Tasty, tasty, it's very tasty! There can't be many of those on the road in the UK, and that one looks damn tidy now - pretty much a collectors item that!

ta chaps, to be a shame to start it..lol its that clean could live in my house for ever.. make a great dry weather bike for sure, knowing me, i see mud and i got to get in it, realy need a dirt bike.. if u ever nee to how many cars or bikes are left, try this site.

http://howmanyleft.co.uk/

the TZR 125R

29 licenced
37 Sorned

but this incudes all TZR 125R`s Japs and Italians so i dont really know how many 4DL`s are out there.

"Model IDs are unique codes that refer to a specific make and model. They bear no relation to manufacturer model codes, they're just codes that can uniquely identify a specific model sold in the UK (imagine them as a barcode for vehicle models)."

even tho my bike is a 1992 TZR125R, DVLA has no data on this. The bike was imported in 2000, so the database registrations will show all, bikes reg`ed.

on that basis, the italian 4DL TZR 125 will probally be less than i think, and that not many in the UK. my bests guess is less than 15-20.

If i bubble wrap the bike up for 10 years, i wonder how much its going to be worth?..its only got 10K miles on the clocks. Dam shame to ride it really..lol

sheesh.. ta chaps, and thanks for the viewings, this forum is one of the best..glad to share with you all..

sure, ive decided it staying in the house till after the new year, dont want it in the cold and muck, be a pisser to ride it this time of year.

Ive not started it yet, but will do on the MOT day. Iam sure very sure will be running perfect with the new build. I was reading the owners manual, and yam says, running procedure

600 miles and not over 7.5k revs.. godam it.. granny riding...lol

but its here, the tzr wont be going anywhere too soon, and if i get a great offer then would let it go. I have brand new rear tyre to go with the bike, Sportsmax 150/60 17, worth about 110 quid. the biggest u can get for the bike. and a spare front wheel. Side pegs and rear foot rests. V5c on way from DVLA. HPI clear, did a phone txt first day i got it. peice of mind. still have it on me fone. The bike is local since it came into the country in 2000. last taxed in 2006. sat in garage most of its life. only 10K miles ever covered.

the work i carried out..

Forks, rebuilt, new seals and silkoline 10W oil.
Engine out, rebuilt, crank rebuilt by PJME , trued up and new conrod/bearing and crank side bearings KOYO, plus modded PV. to take the new piston size.
Every oil seal replaced
Complete new top end. gasket, little end bearing piston, rebore and hone, very slight skim on the barrel. all done in a machine shop.

decals, paint job, and parts.new .brake pads, front tyre, rear tyre, ram air filer, 32mm delorto carb cleaned and rejetted to 155. speedo cable, bulbs, indi`s, bar ends, grips, every cable greased, oil pump re-set

every part of the electrics overhauled.

replaced almost every bolt with stainless steel too..ive spent well over 500 quid just in parts.

another thing, i learned about the italy 4DL tzr is the exhaust is a LAFRANCONI system. racing pipe standard on these models. Its stamped into the zorts exspansion chamber. They sure went out of there way making this bike, polini USD forks, with a 320mm brembo disc, 4 pot brembo caliper. Brembo light weight wheels, its stamped/cast into one of the 3 spokes. Brembo - yamaha. In the cast of the engine also have the markings

motori minarelli. another italian marker.

not only that, it uses a 4DL Cdi, quite a sort after cdi..

its gona be one speedy road machine for sure.
