Fronts pretty new but im just going to go for the set, i have the bridgestone tw302 on there at the moment an the backs in need of replacing pretty badly now.
just wondering what you all think an whats good to go for an whats not
hard wearing
smooth riding
stable grip
cornering
im really wanting some maxxis ones like dtcruizer had they look pretty mean but iv ridden on a knobbly tyre when i used my offroad wheel once due to a flatty but it felt rotten to ride on hard surface...
dont have anything to compare against apart from the cheap "goldenboy" specials that were on it when i got it, but rides lovely on them, can barely tell its a knobbly on road tbh!
and i will be buying another when this one finally wears down
its got loads of grip and it is a proper enduro tyre for people that want good grip all round and its lasted ages.....iv heard nothing but good results from all the enduro boys about this tyre and many wont run anything else
its not too noisy on the tarmac either ....some are
that make there do a few nice tyres i like the self cleaning tread pattern ones
know what ya mean about noise my pirrelli crosser tyre whirrrrsss like mad on the road but its a really hard rubber that one them brigestones are like school rubbers wearing away
or these i like these michelin ones too, but tread pattern looks similar to the noisey pirrelli scorpoin tyre i have already so im not sure whether this will be a noisey slippy tyre aswell .
do use my bike in the wet a lot for transport so i like it to stick on road ,,, mainly i ride mine on roads i dont like making it dirty. i got a spare one for that..
But i want a nice aggresive looking tyre an dont want to compromise the ride quility too much , i gotta say the ride on the brigestones i have been using has been awsome,
stick like glue on the road in all wheather , an even to wet drain covers ( anybody whos bought a cheap tyre before knows the dangers of a wet drain cover lol) .. but the tyres are completly missin any kind of aggressivness look about em.
