4 Stroke silencer on a DT...?

Hey guys, i was wondering if i modified a custom end can from a four stroke bike and used the original expany if it would work, or is there something in a 2 stroke system that wouldnt be aparent in a 4stroke system and vise versa...??

I don't know why you would want to do it, but yes it would work but I'm not sure if it would pass the road legal dB's as i think it would be alot louder!

long as its got 2 stroke packing cause 4t can catch fire apparently

yup i had a random can off of some **** honda 125 thing and it got set on fire at like 70 was sending huge sparks out the back of my bike haha

yer defiantly not a great idea, the heat a 2 stroke creates is immense, my stock rs catted chamber used to glow orange down the end can after a thrash

also 2 strokers rely on the back preasure etc which is mostly done in the chamber but the silencer still plays a part
