I thought I'd show you boys my what I'm riding - it's nothing special as yet but it's damn site tidier than it was when I got. Still pretty standard even though I've spent £400 - £500 since I got it less than 2 months ago. I've only done about 300 miles on it.
So far all I've done is swap the old set of blue and badly painted black plastics (side panels missing) for a full black set, mini arrow LED indicators, tail-tidy and second LED brake/tail light and LED numberplate light, set of Renthals and Renthal pad and a good old clean and degrease (the bike was filthy, wheels were actually black with grime. Beside that cosmetic stuff, I rebuilt the top end, new front disc and pads and a couple of other little bits to get it through MOT. Next I have to fit... Acerbis fork socks, rear shock jack-up kit and some handguards (i've got some new UFO ones but they look crap so I don't think I'll fit them they're too short for a bike with switchgear on the handlebars, might have to go original yammy ones). These new bits should be fitted by next weekend. Does anyone know why my rear caliper doesn't look like any other DT I've seen including my mates whose DT is only a year older mine and is exactly the same model????

Cheers Nath, the indicators were off Ebay, quite cheap - but beware!! I had a nightmare getting them to flash. I tried two different flasher relays plus the standard one and none of them made the indicators flash. the only way I could get them to flash was to wire in an extra bulb in the circuit on each side. I've taped up the extra bulbs and tucked them under the seat/side panel. It's something to do with lower wattage or resistance of the LED's.
