i havent fitted these they were already on the bike but i have noticed alot of play in the twist grip for the throttle seems to be a gap between the grip and the handle bar itself can anyone shed some light on this at all
There is some size tollerance in the manufacture of the size of the bars, with the throttle as long as the clamp fits properly then it should be okay as if you had no gap you wouldn't be able to turn the throttle, with the clutch side people quite often wrap some electrical tape or similar around the bar to fill the gap and/or lock wire it on, i've got a chromed aftermarket set of bars atm and they put the chrome on after making the bars to size so everything was far too tight when i first put it on!
should there be something at the end tho like a end cap ? if i wanted to fit wrap around hand protectors theres nothing for the them to attach to on the handle bar
Wrap around hand guards usually come with (or you can get as an option) inserts to put into the end of the bar to fix the guard with - normally some sort of compression type fitting.
