skate wheels crash bobbins

ive seen a post on using skateboard wheels as crash bobbins can any one tell me how to do this and do i need specific sized skate wheels ?

cheers guys but those R&G crash protectors for only 2 is crazy ive spent over a grand on my dt now so think i better stop spending hahaa im going to give the skate wheels a go :)

its a bit of effort to get a tidy job on them but well worth it as can easily be done for under a fiver for a full set

haha im going to do the same mate all you need is:

2x threaded rod (not sure on the size, have to measure it up)
4x bolts to fit the rod
4x steel washers
4x skateboard wheels

Shouldn't be more than £15 to be honest with you mate.

if i crashed the forks and the swingarm would be a easy fix/ cheap secondhand parts

but if the tank and fairings get damaged then £££ or even ££££
