Blue plastic HELP !!!

This might sound odd but I need to know which year of the DTR125 are blue.

I want to buy a blue light cowling for my bike and need to be sure about the year.

I have a DTR125 2000 parts list and it's giving me the colour "Deep Purplish Blue Metalic"

What the hell is that color ??

If you're ordering from parts just tell them blue and not purple blue, there's only thoes two kinds. IIRC all DT years have blue except DTX's

What scares me is that on my parts list there's only 2 colors for the 2000 dtr125, that purplish blue color for europe (3RMJ) and yamaha black for Austria and Switzerland (4DJA).

Even more odd,  for my 1995 DTR200 it says "Purplish white solid" yet it's completely white.

I guess I'll have to do like you said and have them check for me.

Call parts in Sondel Yamaha (Blackfen) , tell the guy you just want the normal blue not purple blue then get the parts number.

Seiki, I think that call would cost me as much as the part......I'm from Canada.smile

But, I did some searching and it looks like that "Deep Purplish Blue Metalic C" is the blue I'm looking for. They have really odd names for their colors.

Thanks for the help and number Seiki, much appreciated.
