You haven't said why you want to change the gear lever? Is it for appearance or function or what? You could always make one fit if you really want to change yours. Get the lever you want and figure out how to attach it to the shaft splines. You could even cut the end off your standard lever (the end that attaches to the shaft) and weld it onto your new lever, grind down your welds and paint. Where there's a will, there's a way..... but what is your reason out of interest?

Is that bits of piston ring firing out your tailpipe?
dont like the original gear lever not very strong and not long enough for size 10 motocross boots and also to improve looks etc and yes i could do that cut end of weld etc but alot of hassle when you could just buy one and bolt it on all depends if there is one out there that fits, thats why i have asked the question ?
If so the year which the brake levers were made for two and what bike, seems a lot for the yz's and dangerous dave managed to fit one?? Just didnt give the year he bought in the thread...
Eze, you know what year of kx80 it was made for mate?? Got a link at all??
been told by the Germans that the ZAP gear lever for the cr80 and cr85 fits without any modding too but can't find any on eBay at all to see what there like or anything for that matter..
